Huntley Lodge

Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

Summit at Big Sky

Firelight Chalet

An inviting entryway with a comfortable bench has ample space for coats, boots and bags. A laundry room off the entryway makes it easy to clean up after a busy day on the slopes. An open living, dining and kitchen area has beautiful wide-plank hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, a large stone fireplace and beautiful mountain views. Rich leather sofas and an armchair surround a TV and an impressive stone wood-burning fireplace. Sliding glass doors open from the living area to a patio with a large hot tub and a gas grill. A wood dining table with bench seating and a dine-in kitchen counter are inviting spots to enjoy a quick snack or a home-cooked meal. A guest bedroom off the kitchen has a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed with sliding glass doors that open to the patio.

Gray Owl Retreat

Gray Owl Retreat is an unforgettable 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with sweeping mountain views that sleeps 10. This retreat is nestled on 1 acre of land surrounded by 15 acres of green space, and is home to elk, foxes, and abundant wildlife. Guests will love relaxing in the private outdoor spa, playing shuffleboard or ping pong in the game room or utilizing the golf hitting cage and basketball hoop in the summer.

Tanager House

Marrying modern architecture with a cozy mountain-home atmosphere, Tanager House is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Silvertip cabin offering a light-filled, wood-and-glass escape with sweeping views of the surrounding Madison Mountain Range, including Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. A glass door leads to a private deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, BBQ grill, and private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park. Please note that if you opt to pay the guest fee, you can access the private Moonlight Basin Club, and its gracious amenities.

Latigo Lodge

Spanish Peaks Alpenglow

Custom built with local timber and stone, the ski-in, ski-out Alpenglow is a contemporary ski home on a private, wooded lot with high-ceilings, stone fireplaces and log beams, accented by granite countertops, marble baths, and top-of-the-line appliances. Large picture windows frame impressive views of Wilson Peak and the Spanish Peaks Range. Built on three levels, this 5,250 square-foot home is ideal for groups and families, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests.
