As of September 27, 2024, Killington Mountain Resort is independently owned by a group of local investors called the Killington Independence Group, with lead investors including Phill Gross and Michael Ferri. They acquired a majority stake from Powdr Corporation, which retains a minority ownership stake and a seat on the resort’s board. The new owners have pledged to reinvest profits into capital improvements at the resort, announcing an initial commitment of more than $30 million toward on-mountain upgrades (e.g., snowmaking and lift enhancements).
