Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Located in the Cowboy Heaven area of Moonlight Basin, this 3 bedroom Mountain Home is designed with easy winter ski access in mind. Summertime means beautiful, outdoor living areas with spacious decks, private hot tubs, and of course spectacular nearby Yellowstone National Park! Convenience to activities such as hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and rafting abound. The home offers three bedrooms, the master with a king bed, second bedroom with a queen bed, third bedroom with two twin bunk sets, and loft with a queen bed. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. The master bedroom also offers a gas fireplace and a TV for comfortable nights in. In winter, this 5 bedroom, 5 bath home is ski accessible with easy access to the White Otter lift. One of the bedrooms is located on the main level, with a king bed and private bath. There are three more bedrooms downstairs, two of which offer king beds and the last of which has a captain’s bunk bed. One of these bedrooms has a private bath, while the others share a hall bath. The fifth bedroom is located above the garage with two sets of twin bunk beds and a private bath. The game room is downstairs and has a pool table and TV/DVD player. Both master bedrooms, one upstairs and one down, provide a king bed and a gas burning fireplace for premium relaxation. All four bedrooms include flat screen TVs with Sonos Soundbars and DirecTV. The bonus room is a great escape for kids with a flat screen TV, Wii gaming console with select family games, DVD/Blueray player with select movies as well as classic board games. This media room doubles as a fourth bedroom with a deluxe Queen Plus Comfort Sleeper sofa bed. The great room has a gas fireplace and a deck with a gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the breathtaking views. The well-appointed kitchen offers a copper sink, stainless steel appliances and is complete with a wine fridge in the center island. The dining area seats up to 10 guests.
