    I loved Salt Lake City!

We stayed at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel on Temple Square. Our room had a very comfortable bed and a good view of the city. The hotel had a guest laundry, free pcs with internet service in the lobby and an attached restaurant. The Mormon Tabernacle was right around the corner. The city outdoor shopping mall, movie theater and restaurants were three blocks away on the free light rail line. The UTA ski bus stop was across the street and down one block. We used the Salt Lake City 4 day Super Pass which we bought from our Ski.com Vacation Specialist at a discount. The Super Pass allowed us to ride the UTA Ski Bus and ski all on the same piece of plastic. We skied only Alta because it is a skiers only mountain and it gets lots of snow. Alta is a world renown resort.\nWe met skiers there from all over the United States and from several foreign countries. We would recommend Salt Lake City as a destination because it has a good airport that is close to the city center. Hotels in the city are much less expensive than those on the mountain and after a day of skiing there is much to do in Salt Lake City. We were there during the Sundance Film Festival. We attended one movie screening and it was a blast. Most festival visitors do not buy their tickets in advance. They buy their tickets at the theater the day of the screening as we did.
