Healthcare Hero Scores Big During Trip to Jackson Hole, Pens Gracious Message

We are happy to report that Zoe, the winner of the Healthcare Hero Giveaway presented by Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Ski.com recently returned home safely from her powder escape to the Tetons. From the sounds of it, she's going to have some stories to tell down the road about her time getting to do tram laps for free during the pandemic. Apparently, things were steep, deep, and just what the doctor ordered for Zoe: a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of New York City's Bellevue Hospital.

During her stay in Teton Village (many thanks to the folks at Jackson Hole Lodging), Zoe and her partner got nothing short of the quintessential Jackson Hole experience. Shredding fresh powder, roasting marshmallows on their private fireplace, and even stopping for a swing in the woods of The Grand Trees, their time was nothing short of unforgettable. A ski vacation at Jackson Hole was the perfect recharge and the best start to 2021 that I could have imagined after an indescribably challenging 2020. As healthcare workers, none of us chose to be “heroes” but the support and recognition we are receiving during this pandemic truly makes me feel appreciated and reinforces my commitment to healthcare and to helping progress towards the end of this pandemic.
