Ski.com is looking for a driven, relationship-focused Travel Agency Sales Manager to grow and elevate our partnerships with top travel agencies and advisors across the U.S. and beyond.
This role is all about building connections that matter – fostering lasting relationships, driving growth through strategic partnerships, and representing Ski.com as the ultimate authority on unforgettable ski vacations.
This is a fully remote position.
What You'll Do:
• Manage and grow Ski.com’s preferred partnerships with key consortia, including Virtuoso, American Express, and Signature Travel Networ
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase production across agency partners
• Represent Ski.com at major industry events (Virtuoso Travel Week, Signature conferences, and more)
• Create and deliver engaging presentations and product trainings (virtual and in-person) for travel advisors
• Plan and execute sales missions, both independently and alongside resort partners
• Maintain and optimize travel advisor and agency databases
• Support negotiation and management of consortia agreements
• Build strong relationships with luxury lodging and resort partners
• Regularly connect with key partners to identify opportunities and drive growth
• Schedule, plan and host travel advisor familiarization (FAM) trips
• Track and analyze agency account production and performance
• Develop and provide training for Ski.com's Mountain Travel Experts on agency partnerships, promotions, and initiatives
• Share updates, offers, and marketing campaigns with agency partners
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, promotions, and advisor engagement strategies
• Assist with travel advisor email campaigns and content planning
• Work with the marketing team to help develop and maintain training and content for Ski.com’s advisor platform
• Gain working knowledge of the reservation system and internal processes to understand the business from the Ski.com Expert's perspective
• Assist in resolving partner-related service issues as needed
• Support development of new B2B travel products (beyond ski)
• Additional responsibilities as requested
What You Bring:
• Must have proven sales experience in the hospitality or travel industry
• Must have familiarity with travel agency consortia (Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, American Express, etc.)
• Must have established relationships with travel advisors, agencies, and/or consortia partners
• Relationships with and/or knowledge of luxury mountain suppliers a plus
• Confident presenter—comfortable speaking in front of groups both virtually and in person
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate relationships with travel advisors, suppliers and Ski.com Experts
• Proactive, responsive, and deadline-driven
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Goal-oriented with a track record of hitting sales targets
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent, professional customer service skills
• Familiarity with domestic and international ski destinations a plus
• Ability to travel as needed
Starting Salary:
$80,000 based on experience and industry relationships. Additional compensation includes an annual performance bonus, health, dental, and vision insurance, generous PTO, flexible work options, health and wellness stipend, a 401(k) with company match, and opportunities to travel on FAM trips to ski destinations.
