The property is only a fourth of a mile from the Deer Valley base area, and just a short drive to downtown Park City.

For a nice, sit-down lunch the whole family will enjoy, be sure to stop in at Royal Street Café. There are a couple kid-friendly options like chicken quesadillas and cheeseburgers. Bald Mountain Pizza is also sure to please the whole family, with gourmet pizza, soups, salads and scrumptious Panini’s.

    Things to do with the family in Deer Valley

    Families can explore the mountain together and even make a game out of finding the historic “mining” markers and children’s adventure zones together on the map. There are also several race courses scattered all over the resort that both parents and kids can participate in. Plus if everyone is in the family is an expert skier, be sure to take a run on one of the 2002 Winter Olympics venue runs.

    Flagstaff and Lady Morgan are great areas for families with varying degrees of ability, as there are beginner, intermediate and expert trails that intersect and meet back up at the chairlifts. Flagstaff is also chalk full of children’s adventure zones, which are tree trails that have wildlife and environmental education information for kid’s enjoyment and learning. Families should also check out the interactive Children’s Trail Map, which provides little tidbits about the area’s mining history and wildlife.
