A getaway to Aspen Snowmass with friends is always a great idea, and this past weekend was nothing short of unforgettable. From the breathtaking slopes and charming accommodations to the lively après-ski scene, every moment felt like a highlight. Staying at Woodrun Place in Snowmass Village was the perfect finishing touch, offering an ideal base for all my winter adventures.
When planning this trip, my top priority was convenience—I wanted to step out the door and onto the slopes. Unit 44 at Woodrun Place delivered. Nestled right in Snowmass Village, it offers true ski-in, ski-out access to Snowmass Resort, plus easy access to all the restaurants and shops nearby.
One of my favorite features? The boot room at the back door. I could suit up, step outside, and ski straight down to the VX chairlift. And at the end of the day, skiing straight back to the door felt like pure luxury. Free parking made exploring even easier, removing any hassle from getting around when needed.

I was seriously impressed with my studio at Woodrun Place. It was more spacious than I expected, thanks to its two-story layout, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
After a long day of skiing, coming back to this space felt like the ultimate retreat.

Since Woodrun Place is a true ski-in ski-out property, I took full advantage by sleeping in a bit and enjoying a leisurely breakfast in my room. Then, I geared up, stepped outside, and skied down to the VX chairlift, where I met up with my friends for a full day of skiing at Snowmass Resort.
The slopes were in fantastic condition, and the variety of runs at Snowmass kept everyone in our group happy. After a long day amazing day on the mountain, we headed to Venga Venga for some well-deserved après-ski drinks.
The day wasn’t over yet. Back at Woodrun Place, I indulged in the outdoor hot tub, the quintessential end to a day on the mountain. The evening was capped off with a comforting cup of tea by the wooden fireplace, the perfect way to wind down.
On our second day, I decided to explore Aspen itself. Woodrun Place made this easy with its free on-demand shuttle service, which dropped me at the bus station. From there, I took a quick ride into Aspen and spent the day skiing at the Aspen Resort.
The Aspen slopes offered a slightly different vibe, and it was great to experience the variety of terrain. After another incredible day on the snow, I returned to Woodrun Place, feeling blissful after such a great weekend and comfortable space to relax.
This weekend in Aspen Snowmass was everything I wanted—unreal skiing, a cozy place to sleep, and plenty of good times with friends. Woodrun Place took it up a notch with its prime location, top-notch amenities, and welcoming vibe.
If you're heading to Snowmass, I can’t recommend Woodrun Place enough. It’s the perfect home base for soaking up everything this incredible mountain has to offer.
