The 2016-17 ski season marks Whistler Heli-Skiing 36th anniversary of heli operations. Their exclusive tenure consists of 432,000 acres of classic, big mountain terrain, 173 glaciers and 475 runs. To put it in perspective, Whistler Heli-Skiing’s tenure is 50 times larger than Whistler Blackcomb’s—the largest ski resort in North America. Operating at an easier pace, the 3-run Day package is designed for solid intermediate skiers and boarders looking to explore the best of Whistler’s backcountry, but powder experience is not required. Additional package options include the Elite Adventure, a more advanced four-run per day package, and the Ultimate Excursion, a six-run per day package for expert skiers and snowboarders. Extra runs are available for purchase at $95/run for the Classic Experience and Elite Adventure Packages and $105/run for the Ultimate Excursion.
