Based out of spectacular Telluride, Colorado in the San Juan range, Telluride Helitrax’s tenure is 200 square miles of pristine terrain, including high-alpine basins and cirques. A typical heli-ski day with Helitrax starts with an 8:30 a.m. guest and guide meeting at the Peaks Resort. Skis are assigned and a safety briefing and daily logistics discussion take place. The first flight typically departs between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., and guests are usually back at the resort between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Times and schedules may vary with weather conditions and operational logistics.
