  3. Your content-capturing experience

Next, upload it to your video hosting channel of choice: YouTube, Vimeo or Instagram. Finally, copy the video URL into the form field and complete the rest of the form.

  • Big Sky, week of Jan. 13

I applied last year, and I didn’t get picked, so why should I apply again?

Last year, we received nearly 1,200 one-minute video applications, but there was only one position to fill. This year, we’ve expanded the job search to 12 open positions for a couple reasons: 1.) we received so many high-quality videos last fall that we wanted to provide more opportunities to more enthusiastic ski travelers and talented content creators and 2.) we learned that having more than one person in destination led to the best video content, so that’s why we’re hiring two people for six destinations.

Can I apply with an old video?

We’re looking for video applications that explain why you should be hired, why you want visit the specific destination you’re applying to and shows off your content capturing skills. That said, we doubt that an old ski vacation video really does that. We recommend recording yourself explaining this stuff and editing some clips of your ski or travel experience.

Do I have to live in the United States to apply?

No. We’re accepting applications from around the globe. We do require that applicants have a strong command of English.

Can I apply with a friend, family member or significant other?

Yes. We welcome teams of two to apply. We do require that both team members be able to ski or snowboard at an advanced intermediate level and be able to shoot and edit a travel documentary about their time in destination. Each team member will need to create their own videos.

How old do I have to be to apply?

18+.

Best of luck to all applicants!
