Mammoth Mountain will be open through July 4th
By now, you’ve probably heard that Mammoth Mountain is having a banner snowfall year! The snow just keeps piling up. The California ski resort just hit 40 feet of snow thanks to a weekend storm which dropped another 50-plus inches. Plus, the resort reported that more snow has fallen in January 2017 than in any other month on record.
Because of this impressive snowpack, Mammoth Mountain has announced it will be staying open through July 4—or longer! This will be the second consecutive year where the resort is open through Independence Day. It was also open on America’s birthday in 2011.
