This bright and well-appointed one-bedroom unit in the Palmyra building in the Mountain Village core is everywhere you want to be. Within moments of walking out of your front door you can be on the slopes, at one of the mountain village's many eateries or on the free gondola to downtown Telluride.
Good value, bad follow-thruWe found our rental at Palmyra to be convenient and a good value for Telluride lodging. We arrived on a Saturday, and were informed at check-in that although the room was ready, the sink was clogged and a plumber would be by shortly to unclog it. The drain was not opened until Monday morning, and actually required us to periodically bail water out of the sink into the toilet so that the room would not flood (whenever the unit above ours used their sink, ours would fill). I know it is hard to get a plumber on a weekend, but even given the good value of Palymra, that was a lot of money to pay for an otherwise adequate room that required regular bailing of someone else's dirty sink water.
