Epic Pass Basics

Not all Epic Passes are created equal – and that’s actually a good thing. Vail Resorts offers 3 distinct options: the Epic Pass, the Epic Local Pass, and the Epic Day Pass. Each one unlocks different levels of access, perks, and pricing across a wide variety of world-class resorts. Choosing the right pass for your ski season depends on when you plan to hit the slopes and where you want to go. A little strategy goes a long way in making the most of your mountain time!  Let’s break them down.

Epic Pass - $1051

• Unlimited access to 42 world-class mountain resorts
• 7 total days at Telluride Ski Resort, then 50% off lift tickets after 7 days are used (reservations required)
• 7 total days at Canadian Rockies Resorts, including Fernie Alpine, Kicking Horse, Kimberley Alpine, Nakiska Ski Area, Mont-Sainte-Anne and Stoneham (then 50% off lift tickets after 7 days are used)
• 5 days each at Japan’s Hakuba Valley and Rusutsu Resort
• Access to 26 European Partner Resorts, including Verbier 4 Vallées in Switzerland (newly added for the 25/26 season!)
• ZERO Blackout Dates

Epic Local Pass - $783

• Unlimited, unrestricted skiing at 29 mountain resorts
• Unlimited skiing at Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood and Stowe with blackout dates*
• 10 total days at Vail, Beaver Creek, and Whistler Blackcomb with blackout dates*
• 5 days each at Hakuba Valley and Rusutsu in Japan, and Andermatt-Sedrun and Crans-Montana in Switzerland
• 5 consecutive days at Verbier with blackout dates*
• Half-price or advanced ticket prices available during blackout dates at participating resorts
