We road-tripped to Crested Butte earlier this ski season and saw firsthand how they earned their reputation as “Colorado’s last great ski town.” With its off-the-beaten-path location, colorful dining and nightlife scene, spectacular scenery and truly mind-blowing skiing, this place is best explained in photos… and in person. Great news: we’re sending a lucky skier on a free trip to Crested Butte!
Update: This contest is now over, but to recap, we asked our Facebook fans to “Caption Crested Butte” and enter to win a five-night, six-day ski vacation. Our fans posted their best captions under a daily photo and entered to win the ski trip. The best caption of the day received an extra 5 entries in the Grand Prize drawing that was held on March 11. The prize was redeemable this ski season or next, but we recommended that the winner cash in the trip this year! Crested Butte has received more than 250 inches of snow this season, and terrain is open “wall to wall.”
