True chalets in Zermatt
Ifyou’re looking for a true Alpine chalet, complete with all the high-end fivestar touches, as well as a killer view, look no further than a chalet withMountain Exposure. This management company has a plethora of chalets and loftsthat offer five-star service, gorgeous updated furnishings, and beautiful viewsof the Matterhorn and surrounding ski area.
My personal favorites that I sawwere a cluster of four free standing chalets, perched high on a mountain (don’tworry, Mountain Exposure will help with those heavy ski bags!) just a fewminutes’ walk away from the Matterhorn Express base station. Each chalet wasmassive, accommodating between 8-10 people each, available catered orself-catered, with huge private decks, large, sunny rooms, and beautifulkitchens with jaw dropping views. These chalets were the Ibron, Castor, Pollux, and Gemini.
Another favorite by Mountain Exposure was theHeinz Julen Loft – a little more central to the hustle and bustle of Zermatt, but still only a few minutes from the lifts. The Loft is done in a Manhattanmodern style, with lots of unique and truly ingenious touches, and woulddelight any city-lover who wants to explore Zermatt like a king or queen.
