Just across the street is the start of the Idarado Mining Legacy Trail – enjoy breathtaking views of the box canyon while learning some unique Telluride history from signs posted along the trail.

Muscatel Flats Condominiums perch on the banks of the San Miguel River, across from the Telluride Town Park. Winter in Town Park offers ice-skating at the Hanley Rink, sledding, and Nordic skiing. The shared decks on the southeast side of Muscatel Flats lead to a common hot tub overlooking the Hobgood Wetlands and river overlook. Views of the surrounding mountain peaks abound, with Ajax to the east and Ballard to the south.
