Muscatel Flats Condominiums perch on the banks of the San Miguel River, across from the Telluride Town Park. Winter in Town Park offers ice-skating at the Hanley Rink, sledding, and Nordic skiing. The shared decks on the southeast side of Muscatel Flats lead to a common hot tub overlooking the Hobgood Wetlands and river overlook. Views of the surrounding mountain peaks abound, with Ajax to the east and Ballard to the south. From Muscatel Flats, the Gondola is a 4-block walk, or pick up the free in-town Galloping Goose shuttle at the corner and ride it around to the lifts. Perfect for preventing altitude sickness for those guests coming from lower elevations. Between the main and guest house, there are eight bedrooms for ample sleeping arrangements and utmost privacy. In the main house there are six bedrooms on various levels. The bunk room downstairs is the den for kids to hide away and play. Over in the guest house, there are two more bedrooms and a unique lofted space with a playful ladder to climb. Plus, there is a romantic cedar hot tub just off the main bedroom.
