In the main house there are six bedrooms on various levels. The bunk room downstairs is the den for kids to hide away and play. Located in a premier residential neighborhood of downtown Telluride, the Historic Thompson House can be traced back to 1898 and the early 20th century when the Thompson family settled here from Finland. The home was then kept in the family all the way through the 1970s. In 2023, new owners completed a to-the-studs remodel and redesign that you can now enjoy. The home is located on a sunny, oversized lot with ideal south-facing views of the mountain and ski runs. It’s an easy two-block walk to lift seven and the gondola, where Mountain Village is a picturesque ride away! Just a short walk to the main street shops and restaurants, it is also one block from one of the area's trendiest bars, a wine store, a popular restaurant, and the beautiful San Miguel River trail.

The Mountainside Inn is one of the last bastions of affordable lodging in Telluride town. Tucked in against the ski hill on South Davis Street, the Mountainside Inn offers guests a prime location in Telluride town, within easy walking distance of festivals, Main Street and skiing. The property contains hotel rooms as well as condominiums. Amenities include an outdoor hot tub, guest laundry facilities, and onsite parking. The ski run literally runs alongside the south most building of the Inn. To access Lift 7, guests can walk across the Carhenge carpark that adjoins the property. For the more adventurous skiers, there is the possibility to ski right to your door at the Mountainside Inn by dropping in from the bottom of Telluride Trail ski run. The main gondola station can be accessed by walking less than 5 minutes to the east.
