Don’t forget this is the original home of the Sundance Film Festival (now hosted in Park City) and its famed-host Director/Actor Robert Redford. In 1969, Redford envisioned the careful growth of a community that would foster the alliance of arts and recreation while preserving the integrity of the land, and that’s exactly what Sundance is today.
Ski Sundance Resort
Underrated, laid-back and uncrowded, Sundance isn't one of Utah's best-known resorts. You can’t see much terrain from the base area, nor does a trail map accurately portray the spectacular Sundance skiing, but once you're on the mountain, it becomes clear. Sundance must be intentionally kept a secret. It all makes sense when skiing on the resort's varied terrain of wide-open powder bowls, perfectly groomed boulevards, playful gullies and a range of tree skiing.
