Tips For Staying Healthy While Traveling

How to protect yourself and others during your trip:
  • Clean your hands often - wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public place
  • If soap and water are not available, bring and use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub your hands together until they feel dry.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
  • Avoid close contact with others.
  • Keep 6 feet of physical distance from others.
  • Wear a cloth face covering in public.
  • Cover coughs and sneezes.
  • Pick up food at drive-throughs, curbside restaurant service, or stores.
Anticipate travel needs
  • Bring enough of your medicine to last you for the entire trip.
  • Pack enough alcohol-based hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol) and keep it within easy to reach.
  • Bring a cloth face covering to wear in public places.

Our partners are doing everything they can for a ski season that is safe for everyone. See just some of the ways airlines, hotels, rental shops and resorts are preparing for this winter season to keep you and your family protected.




Rental Shops

  • Increased distance between skiers in lift lines.
  • Regular deep cleanings of lifts, gondolas and operation equipment.
  • Contactless online booking and electronically signed waiver forms.
  • Employees receive wellness check daily before beginning work and are required to wear protective gear.
  • Masks are mandatory in communal areas including when loading and unloading gondolas, chairlifts and on shuttle rides.
  • Gondolas and chairlifts will be loaded by preexisting groups. Resorts will work with guests on their comfort level when loading singles.
  • A limited number of guests will be allowed inside the lift ticket office at a time.
  • Protective screen between employees and guests at the check-in counters and at the counters at each gate.
  • Check-in kiosks are regularly sanitized by airline employees.
  • CLEAR security check-points are asking for guests to use iris scans instead of fingerprints.
  • Guests scan their own boarding pass in security.
  • Security bins are sanitized after each use.
  • Electronic sprayers and carpet cleaners are used each day at gates and in the jet bridges and disinfectant wipes are used throughout the day.
  • Regular deep cleanings between flights using disinfecting spray machines before all services are wiped down by hand.
  • Plexiglass partitions between guests and staff at front desk check-in.
  • Social distancing signage throughout hotel common spaces.
  • Sanitizer stations in entrances and public areas for all guests and employees.
  • Contact free check-in and checkout through hotel mobile app.
  • Keyless room entry through mobile app.
  • Ordering food and drinks through mobile app for contactless delivery to your room.
  • Staff required to receive well-being checks daily for beginning work.
  • Employees will wear safety gloves and masks when handling equipment or taking payment from guests.
  • Cashiers will sign guests in to limit contact.
  • Sanitize rental gear with wipes and disinfectant spray before and after every rental.
  • Delivery shops will sanitize delivery vehicles several times throughout the day.
  • Guests can decide on limited or no touch fittings.
  • Number of guests inside of the rental shop is limited.
  • Masks provided if a guest does not have one.
  • Hand sanitizer is available to guests and employees when in the shop.
