In early February 2019, complements of United Airlines, SKI.COM’S EPIC DREAM JOB hire, Jackson Lebsack landed in Europe for the first time in his life. Italy was the first country he visited in his three-week tour of the continent’s top Epic Pass destinations. Stop 2 of his winter-long assignment was in the Trentino region of the stunning Brenta Dolomites.

After an incredibly scenic four-hour drive from Stop 2 in the ITALIAN DOLOMITES to the Tyrolean Alps, Ski.com’s Epic Dream Job hire, Jackson Lebsack found himself at ST. ANTON AM ARLBERG, AUSTRIA. To say the least, he experienced the resort at its best: bedecked in white. In fact, so much snow fell during his stay that roads closed, causing him to stay an extra day and ski the pow.

The next stop of Ski.com’s Epic Dream Job, VERBIER, SWITZERLAND, was cut a little short, due to heavy snowfall and road closures in ST. ANTON, but Jackson Lebsack still packed plenty of unforgettable experiences into the 48 hours he was in stunning Swiss Alps. The European leg of the tour closed out in COURCHEVEL, FRANCE, where Jackson experienced the world's largest ski resort, Trois Vallées.

Japan

Next up was Hakuba, Japan, whose 10 resorts are a new addition to the 2018-19 Epic Pass. Hakuba is located in the Japanese Alps on Japan's main island: Honshu, and was one of the largest hosts of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics events. With snowfall in the mountains ranging from 300 to 600" annually and records topping out near 1,200" Japan is a powderhound paradise.

Jackson Lebsack met up with Buddy Ticket recipient and videographer Justin Graham in stunning Hakuba Valley. Together, the two slayed powder, slurped ramen and embraced all the unique and amazing cultural attractions and experience Japan has to offer.
