Skiers heading out from Alta Badia

Dolomiti Superski × Ski.com

Four valleys. One lift pass. The ultimate ski safari.

A private 10-night ski itinerary

Ski the legendary Sellaronda circuit through Val Gardena, Val di Fassa and Alta Badia, then trade your skis for a train ticket and explore the 3 Zinnen Dolomites without ever needing a car. Your Mountain Travel Expert plans the route – you focus on skiing.

The Dolomites, one valley at a time.

This itinerary is built around the legendary Sellaronda — a 26-mile ski circuit linking four valleys and more than 300 miles of connected terrain, all on a single lift pass in the Dolomiti Superski network. You'll ski the loop village to village, sleeping somewhere new most nights, including one unforgettable night in a mountain rifugio high on the circuit, before winding down with three slower-paced days beneath the Tre Cime peaks in the 3 Zinnen Dolomites.

It's built for skiers who want variety without the logistics: a new village, new terrain and a new mountain hut at every stop, with your luggage always waiting when you arrive. Your Mountain Travel Expert handles the rest — transfers, lift tickets and hand-picked lodging in each village along the way.

Highlights of the trip

Multiple basecamps, one continuous adventure.

Part 1 · The Ski Safari. Seven days, one continuous loop around the Sella massif. The Sellaronda crosses four passes and four valleys – you'll ski a stretch each day and sleep somewhere new most nights, from Val Gardena to Val di Fassa to Alta Badia, including one night in a rifugio on the mountain, before the final leg to the 3 Zinnen Dolomites.

Val Gardena
Part 1 · The Ski Safari · Days 1–2
The valley of Val Gardena.

Your first basecamp is legendary in its own right. Val Gardena is the most awarded ski resort in the Dolomites — you'll start in the storied village of Ortisei, then move up-valley to the village of Selva, where sun-soaked pistes roll straight into the Sellaronda.

Arriving in Val Gardena
Day 1Val Gardena · Arrival
Land, gear up, look around

Sit back for a private transfer from Venice, Verona, Innsbruck or Munich into the storied village of Ortisei, the heart of Val Gardena. Your boots and skis are fitted on arrival, so all that's left is an evening wandering its pedestrian center, soaking in Ladin culture and getting your first taste of the Dolomites.

The valley before the loop

Warm up on Val Gardena's home terrain — long, groomed cruisers with the Sella massif overhead and a lap on the famous Seceda ridgeline. In the afternoon, shift your base up-valley to Selva, right at the doorstep of the Sellaronda, ready to start the loop at first light.

Overnight · Selva di Val Gardena

Part 1 · Days 3–4
The valley of Val di Fassa.

The Dolomites' most dramatic backdrop, with pink-hued peaks, the towering Sella massif on one side and the Marmolada glacier on the other. You'll base in the lively village of Canazei, then climb higher still for a night in a rifugio near the roof of the circuit.

Day 4Val di Fassa · Rifugio Night
A night above the clouds

Ski up toward Passo Pordoi and Sass Pordoi, the roof of the Sellaronda, for some of the biggest views in the Dolomites. Rather than drop back to the valley, tonight you climb higher: dinner and a bed at a mountain rifugio perched on the circuit, with alpenglow on the peaks and tomorrow's first tracks right outside the door.

Part 1 · Days 5–7
The valley of Alta Badia.

Wide, forgiving, endlessly sunny pistes and some of the best on-mountain food anywhere in the Alps. You'll stay in the villages of Corvara and quieter San Cassiano — the last stops on the loop and the launch point toward the 3 Zinnen Dolomites.
