#Snowcial 2013 – skiing and snowboarding are inherently social

“[Snowcial] is Silicon Valley meets the High Sierra, “Revenge of the Nerds” hangs with “The Hangover,” according to Jules Older, San Francisco Chronicle.Ski.com attended the 5th Annual Tahoe Snowcial conference last week, an event designed to connect people in snow sports industry and technology, marketing and social media professionals. While you may think Freeskier rippers and Silicon Valley number crunchers don’t have much in common, both groups are fluent in tech talk, and skiing is pretty darn “social.”

Yeah, yeah… there aren’t any friends on a powder day, but if your crew isn’t with you, it’s a necessity to share the stoke.
