Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

The home was built out of Durfeld logs from British Columbia, which create a warm and cozy atmosphere throughout the space. With 4 bedrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms spread out over 3 levels, this provides ample space for guests to gather and enjoy meals together while offering an opportunity to find peace and quiet. The main level features an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining area and living room flowing seamlessly together. The living room, complete with a sofa and loveseat, provides a relaxed setting with the wood-burning fireplace, flatscreen TV and sprawling mountain views from the large picture window.

The luxurious Latigo Lodge is complete with 6 bedrooms to comfortably accommodate all members of your group. In the winter months, enjoy direct ski-in/out access to Big Sky Resort and in the summer, forge the trails at Yellowstone for an unforgettable adventure. you'll find all the comforts of home, with a wood-burning fireplace and a home theater. Further relaxation is available in the private outdoor hot tub, and a gas grill offers the perfect opportunity for a summer barbecue at home. Marrying modern architecture with a cozy mountain-home atmosphere, Tanager House is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Silvertip cabin offering a light-filled, wood-and-glass escape with sweeping views of the surrounding Madison Mountain Range, including Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks. With direct access to a groomed, novice-friendly ski trail, which takes you directly to the Madison Base Area and Six-Shooter high-speed chairlift, Tanager House is ideal for skiers of all levels. In the summer, explore hiking and mountain-biking trails at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. A glass door leads to a private deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, BBQ grill, and private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park. Please note that if you opt to pay the guest fee, you can access the private Moonlight Basin Club, and its gracious amenities.
