From the very first moment we arrived in Zermatt we were greeted by a very friendly and most accomodating ambassador of the Park Hotel who transported us to the hotel from the train station. The hotel makes a beautiful statement both inside and out. It is situated very conveniently to everything in town and has a spectacular view of the Matterhorn. The hotel staff were all very in tune to your every need or desire and very friendly and extremely accomodating. The food and the dinning areas were more than we could have hoped for. The swimming area is all new and extremely modern and comfortable with two hot tubs and a beautiful solarium to sun bathe or relax in by the pool. We don't believe there could be a better choice in all of Zermatt.

We spent a wonderful week at the Park Hotel Beau-Site in March. Our room had a private patio overlooking the Matterhorn and the village, and with the warm weather it was a great place to drink tea, read and listen to the birds. The hotel is wonderful, casual, but not too relaxed nor stuffy. The service was exceptional, but not overbearing, or intrusive. The staff went well out of their way to be sure everything was perfect. Our Ski.com specialist, (Mimi O’Leary) emailed them before our arrive to let them know about my food allergies. At every meal we were given an English menu, but I was also given a German menu that the chef had crossed out the choices I should avoid. The food was excellent and plentiful, always with many choices. I am so glad our Ski.com Specialist (Mimi O'Leary) suggested the half board option for only 20 francs per day. The dinners for the bed and breakfast people added 60-80 francs per meal. Afternoon tea (also with juices) and cakes was a wonderful way to finish each day of skiing. Our room was spacious, clean and cheery. The windows and doors blocked the church bells and any outside noise when closed, and our room was very quiet. The pool, steam bath and saunas were wonderful. The hot tubs were a little cool for our liking, but very pleasant and relaxing. The hotel is a short walk to the main shopping street, and close to the Gornergrat Cog Railroad and the Alpen Metro (underground funicular)(easy walk) and closer to the ski bus stop. The Train connections from Zurich to Zermatt were well planned and easy. Many of the guests had been returning year after year, and doesn’t that say a lot. We will definitely return to the Park Hotel Beau-Site if we return to Zermatt.
