Great location. Really average food
If you're looking for somewhere reasonably priced and on the town shuttle route then Evergreen is a good choice. The rooms appear to have been recently updated and everything was well kept and clean. The indoor spa is huge and a great respite after a hard days skiing. The shuttle stop is about 100m from the back door, which allows you to start your ski day at either Lionshead or Vail Village base areas. But, don't plan on eating at this place. We made the mistake of having dinner here just once. Although the portion sizes were huge, the cook obviously confuses quantity for quality. The 'fresh' trout spent more time at the bottom of the freezer than the bottom of a river. There is a plethora of eating establishments in Vail, Lionshead and the surrounding suburbs. I'd recommend them.
