We just returned yesterday, Jan. 18, 2012, from a reserved 3-night stay at the Aspen Street Inn, Telluride, CO. Our stay there was so bad that we LEFT A DAY EARLY! Not only did the water pipes blast off several times during the night, waking us up -- I counted eight horrific sounds from the sink in the room above us causing the noise -- (common, the mgr. said --several rooms at the Inn had this problem, the mgr. said -- he also added that he "couldn't fix it") Also, the room we stayed in, named "Crown Jewel," was so cold that I had to remain bundled up in a doubled-over blanket during the day to watch T.V. When I complained to Heather a man was sent to inspect the baseboard heaters but he said they were all right and the furnace in the Inn was just fine. However, my room thermostat was on 95 degrees and the baseboard heater behind the couch on which I had to sit to watch the TV was only barely warm -- for two days!! I was handicapped, on crutches, and had to stay in this room. I even wore my long underware under my clothes, a long-sleeved sweater, slacks and a jacket in addition to wrapping the blanket around me. We had to pay an additional $10 per night to park in the garage, and we only stayed TWO nights but were CHARGED FOR AN EXTRA NIGHT IN THEIR GARAGE!! I want that extra $10 charge reversed to my husband's American Express card immediately!! Gail & Jim Van Scoy
