The property is beautiful to say the least and it’s evident that every single detail has been thoroughly thought out. Everyone from Adam at Valet to Kay the Concierge were extremely kind and helpful. Having worked in the hospitality industry, I find it speaks volumes about an establishment when the staff carry smiles and have a genuine and positive presence. Beyond the friendly staff, I was impressed with the array of amenities the property is able to offer between the Gallery (that was set up beautifully for a bridal shower), The Boardroom, Wine Cellar and Library (which I saw used for a “Grooms Gathering”), to both ballrooms (which I saw set up for one of the two weddings), The Living Spa and Aqua Center. Heidi gave me a full tour of the spa and explained the multitude of treatments offered year round (I imagine many of which are especially popular after a long day on the slopes – as well as the private hot tubs off of the Casitas, Native American and Global Suites). I was particularly impressed with the Living Machine System and the property’s ability to reuse wastewater. I find that the property, like Taos itself, is rich in artistic detail and southwestern history and I enjoyed the fact that we rarely had to get in our car, as downtown is walking distance away.
