Sundance Resort

Owned by Robert Redford since 1969, Sundance Mountain Resort is a year-round mountain escape dedicated to preserving its natural surrounds and delivering transformational experiences to its guests and visitors. The 105 cottages nestled at the base of 12,000 foot mountain peaks offer convenient access to the main ski resort and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing facilities in the winter time. During the summer season the mountain transforms into an outdoor mecca with mountain biking, fly-fishing, horseback riding, art classes and the 3rd longest zip-line tour in the country. Robert Redford purchased and preserved the surrounding 5,000 acres so there are no other resorts, infrastructure or any buildings over 3 stories tall in the entire canyon. “Develop very little and preserve a great deal” is the idea that Sundance was founded upon. With award-winning restaurants, a unique boutique spa and wellness program and no shortage of outdoor activities, Sundance is truly a one-of-a-kind, hidden gem in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains of Utah.
