Very nice place
Our trip at the Bronze Tree was set up by Lori at Ski.com (She was fantastic). We had a 2 BR and a 3BR (#501 and #503)for our group of 12. The 3 BR was recently redecorated and was gorgeous. Marble countertops. Marble deluxe shower, flat screen tvs and wonderful views. The 2 BR was also very nice but it was shown up by the 3BR. We were very pleased with the Bronze Tree. Very Clean. Everything was in working order (except the elevator on one day). The pool and hot tub were clean and the cleaning service was very helpful. This facility is identified as ski in/walk out. Be aware that the ski in is really a walk-in for snowboarders because it involves a very long flat section of trail to get to the facility. But it works fine. The walk out involves going down several flights of steps down a hill and crossing a road. Not terrible but it does involve more than just stepping out the door. location is about 2-3 blocks walking distance to the base village. Not in the thick of things but within a short walk. Overall, a very nice place. We would return.
Bronze Tree 3/16/12 - 3/22/12
My wife, 2 kids and I stayed at the Bronze Tree in mid March 2012. When we arrived there was little snow. It did snow for 2 days while we were there and the skiing got better. I enjoyed our condo at Bronze Tree, however, it is a little further to the lifts than I would like. It is advertised as a ski-in/walk-out and may be possible some times of the year, however there was not enough snow on the ski-in path to make that happen for us. There are a lot of steps from the bottom of the slopes to the Bronze Tree hotel and with the altitude, we were all out of breath everyday when we returned home. Also we never stopped in to eat a quick lunch at the condo, because one trip up those stairs per day was more than enough for us. The condo was nice, it had everything we needed. It had lots of furniture (almost too much). The condo was quiet and we had no issues. House cleaning came twice during our stay and they were good. Internet connection was good. Lockers one the first floor were nice. Elevators worked good. Parking was no hassle. I will probably would stay a little closer to the lifts next time. Overall it was a good trip and a nice stay. Its close to everything, its just a hike up lots of stairs to get back.
