A friend and I stayed at BC Condo on the 5th fl from July 31 - Aug 3. Upon our arrival and check-in we noticed it was really hot up on the 5th fl. We entered our 2 BR Condo and did an internal temp check: 90 degrees. No windows open, no sliding door open. OK so they don't have A/C but we booked the place in advance and they can't open up the place and run fans for a couple of hours? Can't open the windows up on the 5th Fl to help move air in the hallways? We go down to protest and asked to be moved and are told no more 2 BR available but for additional $$ we can get a 2 BR with a den maybe tomorrow. We run the fans for 8-9 hrs and it only drops the temp about 5 degrees. We decided not to move the next day and we ask for one night's refund upon check-out and are denied. Reason? My buddy has stayed there before (they checked the records) and basically should have known better. Huh? I would have thought you would want us to return given he has been a regular customer for several years (and never experienced this problem). Oh, and by the way the construction crew up above us and the landsscaping crew down below starting work at 7:30 AM was an extra noise bonus. Who are these people? We filed complaints with the BBB and local Chamber.
