The location in Snowmass is fantastic. With ski-in, ski out capability, elevator access, and a FABULOUS outdoor pool/grill/workout area, there is no better place to stay.

We have visited about 12 ski resorts out west, and Stonebridge arguably is the best place we've stayed in terms of ski-in, ski-out accessibility. With an elevator, you can get to a spot that is literally about a 200-foot walk to the slopes. Better still, once on the slopes you are a very short ski from two really good high-speed lifts as well as the drop-off/pick-up for ski school. So that's outstanding for families and very convenient. Likewise, you can walk pretty easily to the main mountain village (quite a few uphill stairs going there, but it can be done in ten minutes) or the to the lower village with the treehouse for ski schools. Plus there is a convenient, frequent shuttle service around the village. Most of our party did not set foot in our car all week, and that's a real positive for us. Especially with a large party, it's a real pain to have to everyone coordinate plans each day rather than going with the flow. We were in a four BR condo that looked out at the slopes. It had a great big living room and was very comfortable. Given that we had eight people, it would have been nice to have a few more comfortable chairs in the living room. Also, only one BR had a queen-size bed, so that was a slight disappointment. Otherwise, though, the daily housekeeping was great, and the staff in general were very good. The beds were generally firm and comfortable, and there were free newspapers in the main office. There is no in-unit hot tub, which is a minor negative. There is a nearby pool with two hot tubs. Those were quite good, though the changing room was kind of a mess--wet floors and towels strewn around. The parking garage also was a bit of a problem for large vehicles--very, very difficult to park a large SUV, which we needed to rent for our party of eight. In summary, this is certainly an expensive unit for high-peak times, but the amazing location on a great mountain combined with the aforementioned positives add up to a probable return to Stonebridge in the future.

This is our third week at Snowmass and the first since the major additions at the bottom of Fanny Hill. The Stonebridge Condos far exceeded the prior two places we stayed and we couldn't have been happier. Our unit was nicely appointed and perfect for a family of 4 with a separate bedroom and 2 kids on the pull out. The cleaning staff did an incredible job each night. Ski in/out was 2 steps from the elevator. We cooked breakfast and one dinner in and the kitchen was fully up to the task plus a grill on the deck and a nice infrared grill by the pool. We loved the new Pool / hot tub / fire pit / spa in the middle courtyard - nice to meet other guests and get the knots out. Kids loved fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the lobby after skiing with coffee and cocoa. Covered parking (and ski.com got us a steal on a rental from Denver). We'll be back.
