Squaw Outdoor Activities

It’s hard to determine the best Squaw outdoor activities, since there are so many. But we nailed a couple of don’t-miss experiences. SnoVentures, located at the base of the resort, will have the whole family smiling from ear-to-ear. Youngsters can rip around in mini snowmobiles, while kids of all ages can enjoy whizzing down the mountain on a snow tube. SnoVentures provides dog sledding or horse-drawn sleigh rides. Wilderness Adventures also offers an hour-long dog sled ride through Squaw Valley Meadow. You’ll be whisked around the gorgeous winter wonderland by eight to 10 Alaskan Huskies going about 13 miles per hour. Squaw also provides outdoor adventurers with a wonderful 400 acres of groomed cross-country trails. You can also go on a guided moon-lit snowshoe tour along Squaw’s Siberia Ridge, and enjoy Lake Tahoe awash in moonlight.  With epic views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra’s, you don’t want to miss these epic Squaw outdoor activities.
