SKI.COM ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN TOURS
Aspen, Colo. – June 15, 2010 – Rocky Mountain Tours (http://www.skithewest.com), a 47-year-old ski tour operator based in Pennsylvania, has been acquired by Ski.com (http://www.ski.com), North America's largest provider of mountain vacations and owner of multiple travel brands including Summer Mountain Travel, Aspen Snowmass Central Reservations, The Travel Agents and CollegeSkiTrips.com. Rocky Mountain Tours will continue to operate independently for the foreseeable future to preserve its successful brand and strong relationships with its longtime client base. However, the company will now utilize Ski.com's industry-leading lodging and ancillary product inventory and resources, including proprietary reservation system, online booking engine and in-house web development and design team.
