Our recent stay here was not what we expected. Our unit was "rundown",poorly equipped and furnished and was in a poor location. We did not feel we got what we paid for! Even things like a "wood burning fireplace" meant one packaged log( that had to be requested daily) which burned for a few hours and "in room" coffee needed to be purchased each day if you didn`t bring your own. We stayed here before (several years ago ) and had a great experience. We`ve even told friends they should stay here not anymore, however. ......................... We DID enjoy the skiing @Park City, @ Deer Valley, and @ The Canyons . We had fun in Park City, ate at some great restaurants and loved the ice cream @ "COWS"!! <br><br><br> Note from management<br> "We are sorry to hear that your stay did not live up to your expectations on your visit in 2009. But rest assured we heard your comments loud and clear. In 2010 we developed a minimum standards program to insure the quality of each of these individually owned vacation homes. We also hired a professional refurbishing coordinator who has been working diligently with our homeowners on upgrades to ensure they are providing the in-room amenities our guests have come to expect. We’re happy to report our efforts are paying off. Recognizing the need to stay competitive in the marketplace, a vast majority of our owners have made upgrades to their units over the past two years, including 31 units in the past twelve months! In summer of 2011 a new Property Manager joined our team and brought years of hotel and guest service experience. He and his staff are working hard on improvements and they’re are eager to ensure that each guest is treated to the very best in “mountain hospitality”. We look forward to having you back to experience the new Silver King!"
