Last week, the majority of Ski.com employees gathered at the beautiful Viceroy Snowmass hotel in Snowmass Village, just a few miles from our Aspen headquarters, for our annual sales meeting. There, we sat down as a company to reflect on the happenings of last season and officially kick off the upcoming one. We discussed trends, changes with the airlines and resorts and much more. As you know, the travel industry is always evolving and, as a company, we go to great lengths to stay on top of it.

We remain committed to offering you the travel industry’s most robust inventory of mountain destinations and properties and spent a great deal of time at our meeting discussing what’s new this year. For the 2010/2011 season, our 39th, we’ve added several new resorts, including Kicking Horse and Kimberley in British Columbia and Stratton in Vermont. We also have 40 additions to our inventory of mountain properties in places like Banff, Big Sky, Jackson Hole and Lake Tahoe. Lastly, to ensure our leadership in the industry, we already have great relationships with all the new mountain properties and offer inventory at places like The Montage Deer Valley, One Ski Hill Place in Breckenridge and One Steamboat Place in Steamboat.

Other new things we’re excited about this year include a new relationship with CMH, the world’s largest heli-skiing operator, allowing us to now customize unmatched heli-skiing vacations in British Columbia. Expect to hear much more about this in the coming weeks.
