Movies depicting skiers and riders heading down mountain faces you can only dream about-sometimes in your nightmares-are one of the best ways to get people like you and me fired up to hit the mountain. Walk into any ski-town bar or hotel lobby and you will undoubtedly see a screen showing an athlete in an exotic location on a Bluebird day making graceful turns in chest-deep, light, fluffy powder.

As someone who works in the ski industry, I'm lucky enough to be able to talk about skiing, snowboarding and the mountains on a daily basis. However, I was recently surprised by how adrenalized I was after attending a screening of the annual Warren Miller movie.
