Like many of you, I took some time off during the holidays which gave me the opportunity to relax, catch up with friends and family and spend some quality time on the mountain. Luckily, Mother Nature didn't take a vacation; she spent last week generously delivering a few fantastic storms to many resorts in the West and the East. In fact, she must be working overtime because there is another storm brewing in the West that is expected to result in a couple feet of snow by tomorrow afternoon.

I spent most of last week bouncing between Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee, resorts receiving total snowfall amounts of 167 and 175 inches respectively this season to date. The week was a wonderful mix of sunny bluebird days offering amazing views and powder days full of face shots and that unmatched feeling you get when silently floating through deep snow.
