So much to do and so little time

excellent
Innsbruck offers a variety of ski options all within a short distance from center city. We skied four different world class ski resorts in our one week visit there. There are also many other day trips available to great tourist destinations like Neuchwanstein Castle in Bavaria or Venice Italy. There is plenty of great shopping and sightseeing right in Innsbruck. We visited their Swarovski Crystal Museum and factory one day and enjoyed a Bavarian Dinner Show one evening all within minutes of our Hotel. Getting around town is a breeze and the ski bus transportation is free and very accessible. We enjoyed our stay immensely and look forward to going there again.

Many mountains to choose from; phenomenal scenery

excellent
Innsbruck is a great town to stay in, with historic and well maintained buildings, a good choice of hotels, restaurants and shops, and 5 or 6 mountains 30-45 minutes away.
The scenery is phenomenal and the skiing has lots of variety to keep you entertained regardless of your ability level. Legendary resorts like St Anton and Kitzbuhel are easily accessible. Plenty of options for non skiers - or for your day off - as well.
Nearby Germany is worth including in a trip; don't miss a day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle, and consider spending a couple days in Munich.
