Can you believe it?  Ski season has finally arrived at places like A-Basin and Loveland, and, by the looks of it, other places such as Aspen, Snowmass and Buttermilk will be following suit soon enough.

In fact, a winter storm rolled through Aspen/Snowmass dumping a generous helping of snow on area peaks, with the real storm still on its way.  Snowmass saw 16 inches of snow, Aspen Highlands 11 and 10 inches fell on Aspen Mountain.  Buttermilk, at a lower elevation, woke up to eight inches.

Here are a few pictures taken at the aforementioned resorts.  I know, I know, it’s only October, but would I try to pull a fast one on you?  I don’t even have Photoshop on my computer!
