The Powderhorn condominiums are located within walking distance of the Quicksilver Lift at the base of Peak 9. Although they are only 1 1/2 blocks from Main Street, these units are in a forested, streamside location which provides for a quiet location. Guests have access to the Columbine outdoor heated pool and hot tub area across the street. There is both underground and above ground parking available, as well as an elevator in each of the three buildings.

Bad Lodging

Our unit was rented from Great Western Lodging Unit Powderhorn A405. We checked in on Saturday 18th of March & checked out Saturday March 25th that is 7 nights stay for $5,100 for $729 a night. I would expect for that kind of money the condo would have a functioning TV in 2017. We called and a maintenance worker came right over & worked on cable box but couldn't fix it but said he would get a new box from Comcast & return & install the next day but never showed up. we called again they said George was gone for the day & would check with him in the morning. Next day still nothing called & said George was sick. Up to this point we were very nice and understanding and didn't complain. They promised a new box the next day now 5 days without TV. By this time I had figured out that they were not concerned or cared that we had TV in out unit. They did install the new box that never worked. I called again this time I was fed up with the run around and poor customer service. They showed up with a key to another unit 3 floors down in the same complex we could use to watch TV. Yes it was a jester to take some of the heat off of them for dropping the ball on multiple occasions but it was still not what we paid for. ( I also want to add that this is during March Madness Basketball Tournament which is basically one of the biggest sporting events of the year) and we can't watch it. 5 males out of 8 people who watch this event. The other couple who shared the cost of this condo that my wife booked were very unhappy & probably won't vacation with us again. We own our own company & are self employed and our main focus & mission is Customer Service. The customer is always right even when they are wrong & it cost us money to correct something that was not our fault or responsibility ALWAYS. I know for a fact their is serious failure in the management practices at Great Western Lodging. As of yet I have had no contact from them as they stated some type of refund would be in order.
