This is where you need to be!
This is true ski in ski out if that is what you are looking for. Located on the base of Peak 8, at Beaver Run Super Chair, with access to the bunny slopes, greens, blues, and blacks, this is the best part of the Breckenridge mountain for accommodations. Beaver Run has indoor/outdoor pools that are heated to temperatures that I have never experienced at other winter resorts. I actually swam in the outdoor pool. Game room, bar, sauna, skywalk, restaurants, what more could you ask for?
There is one thing, we decided it would be easier to cook in the condo rather that fight the restaurant crowds in the evening and I felt that there was a lack of dishes and pots and pans but we made do.
Showing its age
We had to request another room because of annoying, repetitive noise behind the bedroom wall. Steam heating is used in #3, and it is probable that air was trapped in the pipes. Management initially made no attempt to determine the cause. Only later did they relent and offered another room (which was much better and larger, and NO pipe noise).
Parking garage had too much standing water, and is in dire need of pressure washing (weather permitting). Ski-in/ski-out is a good amenity.
Fresh Market overcharged for bagels, but that is the resort business model and mentality. Check-out pace was at time too slow, and they charged 3 different prices for my travel mug coffee.
Beaver Run Resort was Perfect!
Beaver Run Resort was perfect for our family. We stayed in Building 4 and were able to walk out of the locker room in the morning and ski right down the lifts and at the end of the we would ski right back to the locker room. No carrying the skis around at all!
The shuttle to downtown Breckridge was wonderful as well. We just called the shuttle and it would pick us up at our building and drop us off right in front of where ever we wanted to go, then pick us up again when we called. It was an awesome conveniece.
I would definately recommend getting a room with a kitchenette, we would able to eat breakfast in our room and for lunch we went back to our room and ate our leftovers from the night before.
The resort is big, but once we figured out where we were going it was easy to find everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
We would definately recommend it and we will be returning!
Great place to stay!
Stayed 4 nights at Beaver Run with 3 days of skiing.Arrived Wednesday left Sunday. Location is great. Ski in/Ski out, literally just feet from the lift. Ski lockers are right there so you never have to haul your equipment around the resort. Parking was underground and very convenient once you figured out the lay out of the resort.Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was very comfortable.Heard it might be a little dated but it really wasn't. Resort is close to town also. Resort has a shuttle service if you don't want to fight the traffic especially on the weekend.
No complaints really....ski hill got very crowded on Saturday and the bar area was very crowded from 3-6pm every day but otherwise it was great!
Beaver Run Resort is quite convenient!
We enjoyed all the convenient amenities Beaver Run Resort had to offer...parking garage, easy access to lifts, cozy condo with fireplace, alternative activities for kids! Everybody had a great time!
Honest, Detailed Review
Stayed in 2 BR/2 bath suite w kitchen. Adequate room for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. Both bathrooms upstairs.
Full-feature resort with plenty of diversions for adults and kids.
On-slope location is convenient for skiers of all levels. But the lift line at base 9 (for beginers) can get quite long.
Ski locker is convenient, but only one per room/suite; so it was a challenge to fit gear for 4 in locker. Multiple locker keys are useful.
Hotel shipping/receiving will recieve parcels for you; but you pay for the priviledge.
Breck shuttles and hotel shuttle are convenient, but allow time.
Ski/board rental, lift tickets and ski school are all on-site.
Underground parking with 7'2" height limitation. Had travel rack attached, so got permit to park in surface lot.
Free Internet in lobby & conf. rooms, but $10/day per device in room. (went to the lobby to check E-mail.)
Service was good.
Great Place!
Beaver Run is the best location for ski in ski out. We stayed in Building 4 and loved the convenience of skiing down to the lift and skiing to our locker room. Great if you have kids - although the Beaver Run lift only services Blues and harder. No problem though, you just have to ski down to the Quicksilver to get to the greens. Beaver Run has it all for the kids and parents, restaurants, pools, hot tubs. Definitely want to return.
We'll Be Back To Beaver Run
We loved the Beaver Run Resort. The convenience of ski in and ski out made the trip hassle free. The shuttle into town was fast and friendly. Would highly recommend the resort to our friends and family. We will be back...Hopefully...very soon!
