Polar bear cub introduced to snow for the first time

Do you remember the first time you saw the mountains covered in pristine, white snow? Was it a bluebird day with the evergreen trees heavy with snow drifts? Did the air sparkle with crystalline snowflakes? Did you pack it together into a hand-shaped ball and toss it up in the air just to see how it would fall apart and drift softly to the ground?

This polar bear’s first encounter wasn’t quite as profound or poetic, but this little guy sure is cute! As fellow snow lovers, we thought you might enjoy this video of a polar bear cub’s first encounter with snow at the  Toronto Zoo. And if that’s not reason enough, it’s National Polar Bear Day!
