Every autumn dozens of industry reps from resorts, properties and more descend on Ski.com headquarters in Aspen, Colo. to update us on what’s new for the coming season. We sat down to chat with Connie, left, from the Sky Hotel, and here’s what she had to share:

Q: What’s new at Sky Hotel for 2015-16?
A: We have Four Mountain Sports onsite. We have been approved for a full redevelopment, so we will be closing April 17, 2016 and reopening December 2017.

Q: What makes Sky Hotel unique or different from other hotels?
A: Well, our ski rental shop, Four Mountain Sports, is part of Aspen Skiing Company. They have eight boots to choose from!

Q: Why do you think guests return year after year to stay with Sky Hotel?
