Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

An inviting entryway with a comfortable bench has ample space for coats, boots and bags. A laundry room off the entryway makes it easy to clean up after a busy day on the slopes. Rich leather sofas and an armchair surround a TV and an impressive stone wood-burning fireplace. Sliding glass doors open from the living area to a patio with a large hot tub and a gas grill. A wood dining table with bench seating and a dine-in kitchen counter are inviting spots to enjoy a quick snack or a home-cooked meal. A guest bedroom off the kitchen has a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed with sliding glass doors that open to the patio.

Blue Grouse Hills is the perfect year-round location for a quiet family retreat to Big Sky, abutting rolling sagebrush and forested hills near Town Center. This quaint neighborhood features a small handful of townhome duplexes styled on the exterior as log cabins with all the comforts of home inside—and lots of outdoor living space for lawn games or playing in the yard. Nestled in the pines on the Moonlight Basin side of Lone Mountain with direct ski-in/ski-out access to Big Sky’s uncrowded slopes, this free-standing cabin offers comfort and convenience in an awesome location! It is an ideal Big Sky base for endless alpine adventures. From the open plan living area and kitchen through to the two spacious bedrooms, the warm interiors create the feel of a true ski cabin with mountain décor, handmade cabinets, and alpine artifacts. This 880 sq ft cabin is an ideal base for families and groups of friends and easily accommodates six guests in an en-suite master, bunk room with custom log beds and a sofa bed.

Silverado Lodge is a sprawling modern cabin situated halfway between Big Sky’s Town Center and the Spanish Peaks mountain range, a 5-minute drive from restaurants, shops and entertainment downtown and just 20 minutes from skiing at Big Sky Resort. Constructed using Western red cedar logs, the 5-bedroom estate offers a feeling of seclusion with sweeping views and a private sledding hill in the backyard. High ceilings with towering beams, floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple private decks and wood-burning fireplaces evoke a classic alpine lodge, while radiant heat, DirecTV and a bubbling hot tub add modern comforts. In the open-concept living area, a wrap-around leather sofa and armchairs frame a two-story, stone fireplace and large-screen TV for cozy nights after a day of mountain adventures. Through an arched log doorway, a formal dining table seats 8 guests for dinner with mountain views. Four stools at the kitchen breakfast bar allow for a separate “kids’ table.” The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need for home-cooked meals. Sliding glass doors open the dining area onto an expansive deck overlooking the Spanish Peaks. A table and chairs allow for al fresco dining on blue-bird days, while lounge chairs and a private hot tub add relaxation. Stretching the length of the home, the deck also has entrances from the living area and master bedroom. Each of the home’s five bedroom suites offers mountain or woodland views through big picture windows.
