Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. In winter ski-in/ski-out access to White Otter chair lift makes this home super convenient for skiers and boarders. Ideal for large families, this luxury home boasts 5 bedrooms, each with a king bed, and a bonus room downstairs. There are additional beds in most of the bedrooms, with sleeping accommodations for up to 20 people. The family room is a fantastic place for quality time together, with a gas fireplace, Wii gaming system, foosball and pool tables, two TVs, and a wet bar. End a fun day of skiing by soaking in the outdoor hot tub on the main level. For your convenience there is a two-car garage with two additional refrigerators, as well as a laundry room. Floor-to-ceiling windows on both levels offer striking views of the surrounding mountains and evergreen trees, allowing light to flood the home while creating a feeling of connection to the outdoors. Sophisticated and contemporary, the Swift Bear Lodge is a year-round getaway with spectacular mountain views of Lone Mountain. In winter, this 5 bedroom, 5 bath home is ski accessible with easy access to the White Otter lift. One of the bedrooms is located on the main level, with a king bed and private bath. There are three more bedrooms downstairs, two of which offer king beds and the last of which has a captain’s bunk bed. One of these bedrooms has a private bath, while the others share a hall bath. The fifth bedroom is located above the garage with two sets of twin bunk beds and a private bath. The game room is downstairs and has a pool table and TV/DVD player. The covered deck has a gas grill and private outdoor hot tub; the two-car garage offers boot dryers and ski cubbies for your convenience.
