Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Floor-to-ceiling windows on both levels offer striking views of the surrounding mountains and evergreen trees, allowing light to flood the home while creating a feeling of connection to the outdoors. A striking entryway with high ceilings, stone floors and unique copper doors welcomes guests as they pass a stone fireplace to an airy, modern great room with plush sofas and fur-lined club chairs facing a framed view of Lone Peak.

As you step inside this 2-story retreat, you will fall in love with the large picture windows that frame the mountains outside and provide plenty of natural lighting. Decorated in pristine white cabinets with gold accents, the spacious kitchen includes a 4-stool breakfast bar and a large kitchen island with 4 additional stools and stainless-steel appliances. The adjacent U-shaped breakfast nook/dining table is great for sit-down dining or a quick bite before skiing. After adventuring, guests can relax and unwind in the cozy living room with a linen couch, 2 armchairs, Smart TV and a gas fireplace. Step outside onto the fully furnished deck with spectacular mountain views. Down the hallway, there is one one guest bedroom with a private deck and one one primary bedroom with a gas fireplace and access to the shared deck.

Alpine Meadows Luxury Suites are unmatched in their spectacular panoramic views of the Big Sky area and their luxurious furnishings. Doc’s Holiday is an updated suite offering 3 bedrooms, two of which are master bedrooms, plus a bonus room. Both master bedrooms, one upstairs and one down, provide a king bed and a gas burning fireplace for premium relaxation. All four bedrooms include flat screen TVs with Sonos Soundbars and DirecTV. The bonus room is a great escape for kids with a flat screen TV, Wii gaming console with select family games, DVD/Blueray player with select movies as well as classic board games. This media room doubles as a fourth bedroom with a deluxe Queen Plus Comfort Sleeper sofa bed. The great room has a gas fireplace and a deck with a gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the breathtaking views. The well-appointed kitchen offers a copper sink, stainless steel appliances and is complete with a wine fridge in the center island. The dining area seats up to 10 guests.
