Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. The Beehive Basin View cabin is perched at the north end of the property with open views across its namesake-Beehive Basin. Seat up to 6 at the dining table plus an additional 3 at the kitchen island. The upper level opens to a 360 degree wrap-around balcony complete with a gas grill. Please note that a four wheel drive vehicle with winter tires and winter driving experience is required for access during winter months. For backcountry skiing enthusiasts, this home offers unbeatable proximity to the skin track. In the summer, enjoy quick access to Big Sky's most spectacular hiking trails and some of the best wildflower viewing in the lower 48.

As you step inside this 2-story retreat, you will fall in love with the large picture windows that frame the mountains outside and provide plenty of natural lighting. Decorated in pristine white cabinets with gold accents, the spacious kitchen includes a 4-stool breakfast bar and a large kitchen island with 4 additional stools and stainless-steel appliances. The adjacent U-shaped breakfast nook/dining table is great for sit-down dining or a quick bite before skiing. After adventuring, guests can relax and unwind in the cozy living room with a linen couch, 2 armchairs, Smart TV and a gas fireplace. Step outside onto the fully furnished deck with spectacular mountain views. Down the hallway, there is one one guest bedroom with a private deck and one one primary bedroom with a gas fireplace and access to the shared deck.

This budget lodge is conveniently located on Highway 191 midway between Bozeman and West Yellowstone near the turn off to Big Sky, MT.
