Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. Powder Ridge Cabins are handcrafted cabins with roomy floor plans, modern amenities, and old world charm. Located on the north end of the Mountain Village, you can access skiing via secluded trails and bridges. In fact, on your first day of skiing, you can access the White Otter Lift and ski over to the base area to pick up your lift tickets. Just make sure you get exact directions on the best ski route back to your cabin, or you might end up too far down the mountain! Private vehicles are required for this location.

Nestled on woodland grounds with panoramic mountain views, Wildridge Chalet sits in the tranquil Spanish Peaks area, just 10 minutes from Big Sky Town Center and less than 20 minutes from skiing at Big Sky Resort. Custom-built with soaring ceilings, hardwood floors and a massive wrap-around deck, the 5-bedroom home has the ambience of a rustic lodge with the amenities of a modern resort, including a sauna. A heated garage with parking for two cars allows you to easily explore the surrounding area, from fly-fishing streams to the local golf course. Sophisticated and contemporary, the Swift Bear Lodge is a year-round getaway with spectacular mountain views of Lone Mountain. In winter, this 5 bedroom, 5 bath home is ski accessible with easy access to the White Otter lift. One of the bedrooms is located on the main level, with a king bed and private bath. There are three more bedrooms downstairs, two of which offer king beds and the last of which has a captain’s bunk bed. One of these bedrooms has a private bath, while the others share a hall bath. The fifth bedroom is located above the garage with two sets of twin bunk beds and a private bath. The game room is downstairs and has a pool table and TV/DVD player. The covered deck has a gas grill and private outdoor hot tub; the two-car garage offers boot dryers and ski cubbies for your convenience.

Silverado Lodge is a sprawling modern cabin situated halfway between Big Sky’s Town Center and the Spanish Peaks mountain range, a 5-minute drive from restaurants, shops and entertainment downtown and just 20 minutes from skiing at Big Sky Resort. Constructed using Western red cedar logs, the 5-bedroom estate offers a feeling of seclusion with sweeping views and a private sledding hill in the backyard. High ceilings with towering beams, floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple private decks and wood-burning fireplaces evoke a classic alpine lodge, while radiant heat, DirecTV and a bubbling hot tub add modern comforts. In the open-concept living area, a wrap-around leather sofa and armchairs frame a two-story, stone fireplace and large-screen TV for cozy nights after a day of mountain adventures. Through an arched log doorway, a formal dining table seats 8 guests for dinner with mountain views. Four stools at the kitchen breakfast bar allow for a separate “kids’ table.” The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need for home-cooked meals. Sliding glass doors open the dining area onto an expansive deck overlooking the Spanish Peaks. A table and chairs allow for al fresco dining on blue-bird days, while lounge chairs and a private hot tub add relaxation. Stretching the length of the home, the deck also has entrances from the living area and master bedroom. Each of the home’s five bedroom suites offers mountain or woodland views through big picture windows.

This Moonlight Mountain Home is ideal for year-round getaways to Big Sky and Yellowstone National Park. Located in the Cowboy Heaven area of Moonlight Basin, this 3 bedroom Mountain Home is designed with easy winter ski access in mind. Summertime means beautiful, outdoor living areas with spacious decks, private hot tubs, and of course spectacular nearby Yellowstone National Park! Convenience to activities such as hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and rafting abound. The home offers three bedrooms, the master with a king bed, second bedroom with a queen bed, third bedroom with two twin bunk sets, and loft with a queen bed. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. The master bedroom also offers a gas fireplace and a TV for comfortable nights in. The crew will also love to gather around the TV in the loft, which also has a private bathroom, or soaking in the luxurious private hot tub.
